Macrobiotics, in my opinion, is a method of enhancing health or healing.  For this reason, natural traditional foods are used, mainly whole grains, vegetables, beans, nuts, fruits and seavegetables and if necessary small amounts of animal source.  you can read online about the concept.  the idea is to eat a diet that is centered.  The foods can be classified in yin and yang and on a spectrum of foods, there are centered foods and such on the periphery like alcohol and meat for example.  when eating mostly foods of the center, the craving for those on the periphery should disappear in time.  I like it because it keeps me agile and flexible.  I think that the anastasia philosophy is congruent with a macrobiotic method.  Unfortunately the macrobiotic foods seem to be expensive for many people, but when applied the seemingly expensive foods may turn out to be saving you money, because they are saturating.  I recommend you to read online about macrobiotics.  if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Victoria Butenko, both my parents followed this trend, I tried to warn them. They both died miserably. Even in the lords prayer the "daily bread" is mentioned. What is wrong with complex carbs, such as they are in brown rice and whole grains?

Today I ate brown rice with chickpeas and tomatoes. For dinner I may eat again brown rice, whole grain pasta and toast with. Avocado. The idea is to eat simple foods. Many people have a low blood quality and cannot resist sugar. I was one of them myself. If anyone has the issue of sugar-cravings, feel free to contact me, I may be able to help you. Only a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar blocks the stomach-walls. There are exotic macrobiotic foods such as miso (with living enzymes), umeboshi (to regulate acidity in the body) and for example gomasio/sesame-salt (brainfood) among many others. These foods are like natural medicines. But because of low quality foods and pharmaceutical drugs, many peoples' healths may be compromised, so this is why it may be necessary to contact a professional-macrobiotic in order to learn cooking. But of course there is the option of doing autodidactic studies. There is lots of study-material online. Simply lookup macrobiotics on the youtube and you may find recipes. Nowadays is mostly about quick and easy: push a button, but do you think, that this is how the civilization has come this far? So I recommend "slow food" (takes time to wash, soak and cook the brown rice or to bake a bread). Lchf is like taking the heart out of a person and hoping that it is gonna do fine. Whole grains are the center of food in any continent: rice in Asia, corn in Americas, wheat in Europe, Kasha/buckwheat in Russia, also barley, oats and quinoa and others. Those are essential foods for a person to do well mentally and physically in the long-term.

Victoria Butenko, feel free to copy my diet 😂 I ate green buckwheat when I planted it in our backyard. But only 3
recently i learned how to prepare it. Can you cook it? I tried it with the traditional method of roasting and then boiling but I prefer to soak it like brown rice or beans.
About the glycemic index, I didn't know about it till now. It is an interesting concept. For me the yin-yang-classification of macrobiotics is the most helpful-tool and also Dr. SEBI's food-list:
I can eat anything I like, but choose to avoid certain foods and focus on others that are healthy and tasty. I use the mooncalendar as an inspiration in order to get variety: vienna.at/mondkalendar (it could be interesting for you as well if you use a translator).

:Amadeus-Josef. :Moise., Ok, of course:) soak in water for 2 hours, then drain and leave in a container for 12 hours, covered with a towel. Rinse and refrigerate, buckwheat in the refrigerator will sprout too. Can be stored for a whole week. Enjoy ))
